Our servers run UnrealIRCd. This is one of the best IRC servers available today, providing maximum security for our users.

We currently run four servers based in Europe.

Recommended

It is recommended to connect to irc.spidernet.org instead of specifying a server directly. This will automatically pick the server with the lowest latency from your location. Furthermore it is recommended that you use SSL (port 6697 on all servers) to connect to Spidernet so your security and privacy is guaranteed. If you choose not to use SSL be aware that IRC is using plaintext communication by default and it is therefore very easy to eavesdrop on what you say, including your services passwords.

All servers run bopm - open proxy and rbl detection, all users get scanned on joining (this is for your own security). Also our servers run antirandom, so that users with random nicks/idents/real name can't join (flood protection).
